The truth is out there. Could it be found in South Delta?

FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully return to the small screen tomorrow with a new season of The X-Files on CTV.

Portions of the upcoming season were filmed in Ladner, including locations like the North 40 Park Reserve in East Ladner along with the Ladner Community Centre and Ladner Pioneer Library.

The local library was turned into the Mud Lick police station for filming in November.

The new season, which sees Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) searching for their long-lost son, debuts on CTV at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Mitch Pileggi also returns as FBI assistant director Walter Skinner and William B. Davis reprises his role as Cigarette Smoking Man.
